Online registration and abstract submissions open on March 1.   Abstracts must be submitted by April 15.

Abstract Submission Deadline: April 15

  • All registered attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts which will be chosen for either poster or short oral presentations. 
  • Posters will be submitted before the meeting as short (no longer than 5 minutes) videos describing the poster, with up to 3 accompanying slides. Poster presenters will be asked to be available to answer questions via an online chat during the poster session.
  • For the short talks, presenters will be asked to make a 10-minute video of their Powerpoint presentation to be submitted before the meeting, then be available to answer questions live following the broadcast of their talks.
  • Abstracts will be reviewed on an “as submitted basis” by the HA 2021 Program Committee.  We will contact you upon completion of the review.
  • All approved abstracts will be published in the HA 2021 Program & Abstract Book.

Guidelines for Abstract Preparation

  • PAGE LAYOUT: Portrait orientation, 1” (2.5 cm) margins
  • FONT TYPE/SIZE: Times New Roman x 12
  • ABSTRACT LENGTH: Max Word Count 500 including References and Funding Source(s)
  • NO FIGURES can be included.
  • TITLE: ALL CAPS
  • AUTHORS LISTING: Names with numerical superscript for affiliation
  • LIST OF AFFILIATION: Follow Numerical superscript for affiliation
  • PRESENTING AUTHOR: Indicated by a superscript*
  • MUST BE UPLOADED AS A WORD DOCUMENT
